TechValidate Content Library in Salesforce

Setup & Installation

Enterprise Edition

  1. After you talk to TechValidate, you'll receive an email with a link, which you will need to forward on to your Salesforce administrator.
  2. Login to Salesforce
  3. Click Install
  4. Click on the Setup tab
  5. Go Manage Users > Profiles
  6. Click on Edit to the left of the custom profile
  7. Choose TechValidate in the Custom App Settings and Custom Tab Settings*
  8. To enable Visualforce for your sales team, select Custom: Sales Profile
  9. Scroll down to the section Enabled Visualforce Page Access and select Edit
  10. Select which product pages to enable, select Add and then Save

Professional Edition

  1. After you talk to TechValidate, you'll receive an email with a link, which you will need to forward this on to your Salesforce administrator
  2. Login to Salesforce
  3. Click Install
  4. Click on the Setup tab
  5. Click on Customize Your Tabs
  6. Click Customize My Tabs*
  7. Choose TechValidate in the Custom App dropdown menu, click to add and Save

*Make sure you have Visualforce available for your sales team. 

Congratulations! Your TechValidate tab with your marketing assets should now appear for your sales team.

Accessing Content in Salesforce

TechValidate creates 3rd party verified customer content that sales teams can quickly share with prospects. All TechValidate content will be organized under a single tab in Salesforce. Follow these steps to view your content:

  1. Login to Salesforce and find the tab for TechValidate at the top
  2. Choose either TechFacts, Charts, or Case Studies
  3. (Optional) Apply any necessary filters or leverage the text search feature
  4. Find the asset you want and choose from the various options under Actions to share it outside of Salesforce
